Process times varies from these places. Again this varies since from HK a parcel can get here in a week through standard mail as per my experience. Probably deciding what to do with this mysterious package from China addressed to some random street address There's a sucker born every minute. Lol you're complaining about free shipping.
Be a man and offer to pay for shipping. I should have done more research on this company before buying from them. I got a Tracking Number but they do not provide you more information. Its the first time a see that. I was thinking they have a warehouse in canada so the product could arrive fast.
And then consumer service is very poor. I hope i will receive my order some day. I was accustomed to receiving my things in less then a week. DX have obviously posted it all out on time. I ordered some stuff on 16 October. By the way, I was regularly checking the onward tracking link from HK but it did not show any useful information.
How are people tracking their parcels other than through the hong kong postal service? As when I track my parcel it simply says that it was posted on the 29th of October, and I see nowhere that tells me whether its sat in an airport. FFS ppl use some nouse! In my defence, I had a light, but I blew it up, and the rear light has only just become availibibbles innit? Same here Ordered 25th Oct. Posted 29th Oct. DealExtreme tell me that the postal system in HK is slow bwcause of Christmas so could I be a bit more patient!
Yup, happened to me last year but I was told loudly that I was wrong so there you go. Took around weeks in total if I recall right. Helmet light out on its first outing tonight to run along side the bar mounted light I bought last year! Yup, I ordered a bracket on 22Oct, it shipped on 27th Oct, still no show. I checked and it was not at the post office. Still they had sent me a tracking number to prove my order had shipped.
By now it was almost 6 weeks. I immediately responded back to them that PayPal has a 45 day limit on opening a dispute against the order if it did not show up in the additional 10 days. They stopped responding so I had to open a dispute with PayPal. A few days later I was refunded the purchase price minus PayPal transaction fee. It had now been alomost 8 weeks since the order was placed and no package has arrived—it is apparent they never sent anything and were either just stalling because the items were not available or they were just fraudulently stealing my money.
I received an email saying it was backordered and they did not know when they would get more. Not wanting to wait for and indefinite amount of time, I canceled my order, expecting a refund. They canceled the order, but never issued a refund. Why would I trust them? I ordered 6 x cap lights from Dealextreme China on 28th January They sent me a USB cable?? After 3 weeks waiting for their response they confirmed shipping of the correct order. I received today only one of the six items ordered.
I imported from other businesses in China with no problem. Wessel Germishuizen. I ordered a 3 products from dealextreme which arrived with two of the items missing. I sent them a complaint to their customer service dept and after a few days they responded. We went back and forth with them requesting that I go to the post office to see if they took the items, all their requests I did.
In the end they offered me a store credit. I told them to please just send me the items I ordered which they said they would. Now 18 business days with no shipment and no reply to my complaint as of yet. I ordered an item on 25 November , received an email from Dealextreme saying it was paid for and sent on 26 November, but as of 22 January have not received it.
I have contacted them a number of times and have always been asked to wait a little longer to see if it arrives. I have asked for my money back but that has been refused. I now realise I will never get the item, nor my money, and I believe this company to be doing this not only to me, but to many others, after having read some reviews on the web. Somehow these types of companies must be more easily identifiable of they will continue to scam customers.
I purchased a D battery drive in October I sent the unopened package back on 5 Dec, , and posted a photo and postal tracking number as requested. They sent me the wrong item. In order to return items to them, you have to take a picture of it and the envelope it is sent in and upload it to an e-mail, which I did.
Even though they had a picture of the item that stated what the item was, they sent an e-mail back and asked me to describe the item, which I did. She promised to reimburse my shipping costs as well. I sent them copies of my receipts from UPS showing the date and cost of shipping. After waiting for a month, I finally contacted my credit card company and explained the situation.
They were very helpful and stated that I would not be responsible for the purchase price. Only then did I receive an auto reply from Deal Extreme stating that they received a request to cancel the order. They still have not refunded my money, although I am having the CC company deal with them on that. They also have not refunded the return shipping costs.
Deal Extreme is either staffed by totally incompetent personnel or they are a disreputable company. I wish I would have googled this company before doing business with them, there appear to be other complaints there as well.
I purchased some things from DealeXtreme and paid 30 euros in total. Several weeks later I received a message from them stating that my order was delivered. Since I received nothing I contacted customer service and was told that my order was delivered to the wrong address by mistake. How they managed to do that is still a mystery because my address in their system was accurate.
I decided to track the package myself. I also contacted our national postal service and was told that the package was sent back since it was undeliverable. DX customer service is absolutely useless ad unprofessional, they said that I had given them the wrong address. They cannot even copy an address without any mistakes! And they are completely useless when it comes to help the customer. I received Ulephone Power 5 handset after waiting 15 days for delivery.
I tried to log on Dx website that itself was not easy. I have send an email to them after spending few hours working out how to report a faulty item, I am still awaiting for their customer service. I think DX uses the early adopters — people who place their orders early and ahead of the curve before the masses do — in bad faith so they can test the waters and see if there is substantive demand for an item. Once orders are taken, they then make their order in proper and optimal size to their suppliers.
Furthermore, on at least 2 past orders, I got fed up with non-responses from DX people. On one occasion, I tried to cancel my order. If you would like to obtain the latest update, please contact us. Obviously, at least one of these is a lie. DX presents whatever status they feel like to manipulate the buyer.
Also no such thing as a FIFO policy. People who buy the product after you — especially if you are an early buyer — will often get their items shipped first. When inventory is very low, but many orders are taken, DX appears to try to do damage control on their public image — manipulating the perception of the masses by shipping the bulk of the last orders first for positive feedback. A few very angry customers is better than many unhappy customers.
But point is, no chance in getting a price match. Just look at the reviews of these people. Be cautious who is posting.
Cunning and very manipulative. There is pattern here. Hmmmm… makes you wonder. It seems like DX staff are trying to keep their score up. No response after inquiries to customer service.
That is about as much as you can trust them with one order. Poor ethics. Poor practices. Yuri Vanetik is a seriously dangerous asset manager who has been targeting folks from California and scamming them.
Yuri misrepresented. They will continue to charge. The staff is the worst part of this place. They are dirty, rude and just straight up gross. But I will take my normal money elsewhere.
