Chat Player Valuations. I don't get why is applied to removing 3 Nation Limit, where you can't continue the save on the tablet, and the editor can't be applied to the same concept. Where is exactly the consistency?!?!?! Well we that want an editor don't really have to wait that long anyway. The new Ipad Pro is really pushing the boundaries what it can ran or not. So big part of 92 percent of laptops do run full fat FM Know that I think of it, the Editor is not that demanding in terms of hardware. I wonder in 1 or 2 years time, what exactly would be SI excuse for not implementing an editor for FMT. How fast it is, is absolutely nothing to do with memory , as pointed out above. There are different restrictions on what developers can do on Tablet vs PC, because on Tablet they have to follow developer rules in order for the app to pass submission procedures and be allowed to be sold.
Until these things change and the tech improves as well, you won't see it on Tablet and thats before we get to the question of, do they want to implement it. Three nation limit is nothing to do with the Editor consistency wise, because there is a whole lot of Editor related stuff you can't just "switch on", since a lot of stuff doesn't actually work on Touch anyway and the Editor is designed for full FM, not FMT. About the 3 nation limit, do you know any oficial reason why it's the same limit to all tablets, and not something that changes depending on the tablet capacity?
No official reason. But it provides a consistent experience and ensure the game will last for 30 seasons. It's something that's been tested before now and it's not as simple as stretching the limit, or using player counts. There is limited memory to work with whatever the device so a line has to be drawn somewhere in order for a game to be released.
The limit isn't arbitrary, and has been looked at and 3 nations is what was decided as the most acceptable currently. I disagree. The decision behind the 3 Nations limit is the exactly the same behind the editor. If the 3 nation limit option is unselected a warning appears that cross-platform save isn't possible. The same can happen with the editor. Until I and others do have. I don't have anything against you or trying to get you or something of the likes.
The decision behind of having no editor for FMT the Desktop version at least , is beyond my comprehension. The Desktop has no limitations since FMT was first introduced as Classic and even then we had no editor.
Maybe it was new thing and what not. Even people began to say it was due to DLCs, which several times was said it was not. Sometimes I do question this Equal stuff between versions, but I can't accuse SI of doing this, because I don't have evidence of it. I was not saying that the limit is arbitrary.
Perhaps i didn't explain in the best way, but to me it seems that the limit is being impose by the lower end tablets. Why a 2gb ram memory tablet should need the same limit then a 4gb tablet? The extra 2gb should be there for something, right? It seems that SI made the decision, and they own the game so they can do whatever they want, to decide a limit that can be fulfill by all tablets.
It's the decision that they think it's better. Perhaps it's the easier decision, in terms of tests and all the stuff needed to release the game. You should, because how else are you going to show you want it? I just think, twisting threads and turning it into about the editor, isn't really helpful. It will get to the point where I refuse to carry on helping and answering queries. Because it's the same conversation, every time.
